Rotary Dyeing

We have also discovered that our dye formulation can be used with rotary dyeing. Rotary dyeing uses a series of mesh cylinders to print detailed high-quality designs on to a continuous roll of polyester fabric. Our rotary dyeing can accommodate up to 10 colors with a 25 1/4" repeat.   This process also allows the dyeing of both sides of the fabric where other dyeing processes are only done on one side. Sublimation is the other most common process that allows the printing of rolls of polyester fabric. In addition paper transfers need to be purchased to use this process. The heat and pressure needed to apply sublimation causes 40% to 60% of the moisture wicking property to be lost from performance fabrics and the dye stays on the surface of the fabric not completely penetrating the fiber.  PolyHD can be printed without the extreme heat and pressure of sublimation keeping the moisture wicking properties of your performance fabric intact.
